Caregiving is no longer a side issue affecting a small number of families. It is becoming one of the defining realities of modern life.
Dr. Anna Thomas opens the summit with a look at what the Age of Caregiving means for individuals, families, workplaces, and communities, and why we need to think differently about how we prepare for and support care.
Speaker Bio:
Dr. Anna Thomas is a board-certified physician, author, speaker, and caregiving and workplace wellbeing strategist. Drawing from her experience in internal medicine, palliative care, leadership, and family caregiving, she helps individuals and organizations navigate the growing realities of care with greater confidence and practical support.

Caring for an aging loved one often exposes the fault lines in family relationships. Old habits resurface, communication breaks down, and the division of labor frequently falls on one person's shoulders.
This session provides a practical roadmap to decode family resistance, bypass emotional landmines, and foster genuine collaboration. Jennifer will share actionable communication techniques for conducting constructive family conversations, establishing shared goals, and distributing caregiving responsibilities more effectively, helping families move from division toward shared support.
Speaker Bio:
Jennifer Fink is a caregiving strategist and veteran advocate who helps organizations better support working caregivers. With 20 years of experience navigating the complexities of Alzheimer’s and dementia care, she bridges high-level strategy with the day-to-day realities families and caregivers face.
As host of the Dementia Decoded podcast for nearly a decade, Jennifer has built an extensive network of experts focused on solving the logistical and emotional challenges of caregiving. Her work helps caregivers and organizations move from caregiving chaos toward a more manageable strategy.

Caregiving can create constant administrative, mental, and physical overload.
In this practical session, Dr. Staci Moore introduces L.I.E., three components of her R.E.L.I.E.F. Method™ designed to help caregivers create more structure and reduce daily strain.
Participants will learn how to line up critical paperwork before a crisis, use AI as “silent help” to reduce cognitive load, and build simple routines that protect their own capacity while caring for others.
The session gives caregivers three immediate, practical moves they can use to reduce chaos, improve preparedness, and make caregiving more sustainable.

Caregiving can take you from calm to chaos in one breath.
Caregiving changes you. It stretches you, challenges you, and shapes you. But somewhere along the way, pieces of you can get lost.
Lani Almanza shares how caregivers can begin finding their way back to wholeness through simple, sacred steps, one breath at a time. Drawing from her own lived experiences in different caregiving roles, she will help attendees reflect on their past, present, and future caregiving journeys and identify practical ways to move through those experiences.

When you're caring for someone you love, it's easy to slowly move your own needs further and further down the list until putting yourself last begins to feel like what caregiving requires.
But lasting self-care doesn't begin with finding more time, following the perfect routine, or adding another thing to an already-full day.
It begins by challenging the belief that caring well for someone else requires disappearing from your own life.
Drawing from her experience as a two-time caregiver and health coach, Beth Meek will help caregivers recognize the mindset that keeps their needs on hold and discover realistic ways to begin caring for themselves too, without waiting until caregiving is over.
Speaker Bio:
Beth Meek is a Certified Holistic Nutrition Expert, health coach, speaker, author, and two-time caregiver who helps women stop disappearing from their own lives while caring for someone they love.
After experiencing firsthand how easy it was to put her own care aside and how much of herself she lost in the process, Beth made it her mission to help other caregivers approach self-care differently. Her mindset-first approach helps women challenge guilt and beliefs that keep them at the bottom of their own list, then build realistic self-care that fits the unpredictability of caregiving

Caring for others is one of life's greatest responsibilities, but it often comes with an invisible emotional cost. Whether supporting an aging parent, a loved one living with dementia, or balancing the demands of work and family, many caregivers quietly carry responsibilities that affect their resilience, decision-making, and overall wellbeing.
In this engaging session, Leadership Grief Strategist Dr. Princess Millens explores the hidden weight caregivers often overlook and shares practical strategies for protecting their emotional capacity while continuing to care with compassion. Participants will leave feeling seen, equipped, and empowered with tools they can immediately apply in everyday life.
Speaker Bio:
Princess Millens, EdS, PhD, is an author, speaker, resilience educator, and Leadership Grief Strategist who helps individuals and organizations navigate the hidden emotional weight of life's most demanding seasons.
